A report from the home front

Hey everybody!! It's Mason!! Can you believe it??

It seems that with mom out of town, I was able to finally get the laptop away from my bratty brother & have my chance to be heard! Don't worry, I'm taking good care of the little guy, making sure he stays in line and not going too crazy without mom here to control him. There have been lots of games of bitey-face ...

... Snuggling when he finally slows down...

And even making sure he doesn't get lost in the deep snow when we go outside.

Brutus is a pain in my labrabutt, but truth be told I do actually like the little guy. Just wish he was a bit less clingy sometimes!

So much for personal space...

But mostly, I wish he would just relax and realize that mom ALWAYS comes back!

You out there mom??

Oh, and I wanted to share this photo mom emailed us from Arizona. She took Flat Brutus out there, and it seems like he is as likely to get in trouble as the real Brutus. Look at this prickly situation he got himself into:

Yikes! I think were are MUCH better off here at home after seeing that! Don't worry mom, dad & I have it under control. Just come back soon & bring us some pressies, OK??

Last but not least, I want to take this rare blogging opportunity to thank my brother-from-another-mother, Dexter (Mango's little brother, AKA Pee Wee). He was so thoughtful and gave me this fun award! ME! My very own award, and for once I don't have to share it with Brutus! Woohoo!! Thanks, Dexter!!

Oh, Brutus~ I know how you feel little one. It breaks my heart when momma leaves, even for a short time. I pace and pace around the house until she gets home.

Sending you lovely Frenchie hugs and big Puggies kisses from your girl Stella.
