Well hello everyone out there in blogland! Once again we sort of disappeared! I assure you, this time we had a perfectly good reason...
I planned to do daily posts from our road trip, but we were so busy I fear it never happened. If nothing else you can now enjoy our travels knowing that we are already back home safely. Guess I'll turn this particular post over to Brutus since he seems to be feeling a lot more energetic than myself at the moment.
AHEM - it's about time mom! I offered to post all of last week, but nooo.... We have fans out there you know, they've probably been wondering what the heck we've been up to! Let's see, where do I begin?
Last Saturday (as in a week ago yesterday) we knew something was up because mom gave us both baths - and we weren't even dirty! Then she put our bath robes on (it does help my shiny furs dry faster after all) and took photos. We knew blogworthy things must be in store.
Mom spent lots of time folding up stuff and putting it in bags and suitcases and packing it into her car. I was pretty worried for a while.
Then I happened to notice that mom had printed out a sign on the computer and was taping into the car window (she's dorky like that...). When I saw what it said I had a glimmer of hope and told Carmen not to worry.
Thankfully I was right. Bright and early Sunday morning, mom got us up and before I knew it we were strapped us into our traveling spots
Co-pilot Brutus here! All systems go! Let's get moving!
Mom punched the coordinates into her GPS (can you see it says 505 miles! YIKES!)
We met up with some friends and fellow Frenchies, who we followed for a long, long, LONG time
Are we there yet??
We got stuck in Chicago traffic.
After an hour of stop & go I got a little car sick (how embarrassing), but at least it got me an upgrade to the front seat!
After what seemed like forever, we finally stopped the car and got out. Where in the heck ARE we, mom??
Must be somewhere important, more photo ops!
Hey, wait a mintue. That sign looks familiar. Like I've seen it somewhere before...
OMG - it's the French Bulldog National Specialty! We are in Wisconsin, holy cow! It's our first time in a hotel room, pretty cool!
Looks like all our stuff is here! And they even gave mom a sign to put on the door so that we don't scare the dickens out of housekeeping when they come in!
Phew! What a long day it was. Time to chill out and rest up for what is in store. A whole week with nothing but Frenchies to see and play with. Be sure to tune in again soon to see all the crazy things we did. After all, what happened in Oconomowoc can't possibly stay in Oconomowoc!!

Oh Boy!!! I sense a Major Adventure here.
Oooo this sounds like the start of an awesome adventure!! I noticed your mom's GPS said 'North Olmstead.' I've been there!! Well, then again I've been all around the Cleveland area (have gotten lost around the Cleveland area..). I'm not surprised that you got stuck in Chicago traffic - my hood is a kind of busy traffic area. I've been stuck in traffic a lot myself, though I've never gotten car sick (sorry Brutus, but nice upgrade!). Can't wait for more of the Frenchie adventures!!!
This must have been totally awesome and fun!
BTW, we saw Carmen's video on Facebook! She did great!

Teehee. We've been following you on Facebook, so we know how this adventure ends - but we didn't know how it started, so now we've got the complete story! (But we won't spoil it for anyone else - promise!)

A Frenchie convention, how fun! Must have my mom person find a schnauzer convention. I don't actually have to compete to do do I? I'll have to check into this.

Wow, very cool. I hope you enjoyed Wisconsin. Mommy is from the Milwaukee area, but we live in Michigan now and Mommy says we will always be Badgers inside.

p.s. Brutus what happened(snickers) to your wimpy mascot(snickers) at the football game?
I feel so bad for him(what a wimp, Bucky would have tore him to pieces), I hope he is ok(really I do).
Fun.Fun.Fun. What a great time you had. Love all the photos. Even Flat Brutus made it. Yippee!!
