(somewhat) Wordless Wednesday: Pumpkin Patch edition

Here's what happens when you take a couple of Frenchies gourd-shopping.

I told Carmen she could pick out a pumpkin.  She took the job very seriously and taste tested many of them.

Hmm, kinda dry.

Tastes like dirt.

I can pick this up!  I know I can!!

Now here's one I can sink my teeth into!
In the mean time, Brutus picked out just a few to take home....

Yep, I think these should do!

Luckily friends of ours own a garden center and didn't mind having paw prints all over their pumpkins!

We are busy getting ready for a busy Thanksgiving weekend!  Come back tomorrow for our Adoption Stories (thanks for the idea, Frankie & Minna Krebs!!)

Looks like there will be lots of pumpkin breads and pies on your Thanksgiving Day table. The pups look great next to all the wonderful signs of autumn.

Happy Thanksgiving from all of us.

Those pictures look so weird - where's all the white stuff that should be on the ground?!? Brutus, I'm tellin' ya - you are really going to have to keep your eye on Carmen - she seems a little too, uh, precocious (even if she has a eye, uh, set of teeth, for picking out produce). I still think we need and Older Siblings with Crazy Younger Siblings support group! Happy Thanksgiving, BTW - although we'll be back to check out your adoption stories! (Does it count if we were "adopted" from a small breeder? If so, we'll add our story, too!)
